This custom video highlighted music’s ability to travel and transcend time and place with an ear to Latin Hip Hop / Reggaeton. Inspired by Expedia’s recent 'Maracuyá' ad, VICE x Expedia collaborated to discover the world through recognizable rhythms resonating through a Latin/Reggaeton Hip Hop focus. The 3-minute video paid homage and shared insight around Reggaeton, its history, and recognizable beats through a musician, Gabriel Garzon-Montano, who shared his personal story while also dropping some global musical knowledge. Expedia showed up as the influence that inspired the series and had its logo at the top and tail of the video.
